One Act is a global startup engaged in software development and AI technology development.

One Act built the AIpowered trusted marketplace PieceX www.piecex for buying and selling vetted and approved source code.

We are seeking a frontend web developer to join our team. As a frontend developer you will be responsible for the user interface of our PieceX. Qualified candidates will be expected to have a working knowledge of HTML5 CSS and JavaScript and a basic understanding of user interface and user experience (UI / UX) design.

Job Description :

The key responsibilities for frontend developer position includes :

  • Transform wireframe / mockup designs into frontend code with HTML CSS and JavaScript
  • Create responsive / adaptive website pages
  • Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  • Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
  • Create Blog and Landing Pages using WordPress
  • Onsite search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Stay uptodate on emerging technologies

The successful applicant :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern responsive and crossbrowsercompatible websites using HTML CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles
  • Experience with crossbrowser compatibility testing
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • An ability to perform well in a fastpaced environment
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
