Serverless Database Senior Devops Engineer - H/F

About the job The Serverless Database team is building a pay-per-use SQL Database product integrated into Scaleway’s ecosystem.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of leading your teammates to achieve a high-quality, high-impact, product.
You will be responsible for mentoring your teammates to develop, operate, and optimize the product.You will also play a key part in designing the technical stack design and managing the product backlog.
Profil recherché
- Excellent experience in backend development
- Ability to identify the right design / coding pattern for a given problem
- Good soft skills and mindset
- Quick learner
- Very good command of English (French is a big plus)
- Experience with typical DevOps tooling : Git, CI / CD, containers, etc.
- Knowledge of open-source relational databases : PostgreSQL, MySQL,
- Fluent with team tools : GitHub / GitLab, Jira, Slack, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of microservices and cloud patterns (K8s is a plus)
- Familiarity with quality enhancers : unit / end-to-end testing and documentation
- Good sysadmin and network knowledge
- Contribute to the product architecture and code base
- Define the right quality standards for each step of a product’s life cycle
- Mentor your teammates to help them improve their skills
- Partner with the Engineering Manager to translate product needs into a backlog
