The Peninsula Paris' restaurants bring a new dimension of dining to the City of Light. The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead and inspire a passionate team.

Key accountabilities

  • Is accountable for the efficient operations of the Food and Beverage department to ensure the provision of F&B quality, and service experience, innovating and demonstrating vision as required to position the hotel as an industry leader and achieve unique identities for each F&B outlet.
  • Ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service.
  • Ensures productivity levels are achieved and prudently manages labour / payroll costs within budgetary requirements.
  • Increases revenue and sales objectives by designing and implementing marketing and sales programs in consultation with Sales and PR personnel.
  • Hires, develops, motivates, supervises, and coaches F&B department employees.

    • General requirements

  • Minimum 4 years in a similar role within luxury hotels
  • Is a natural organiser, highly detailed and able to engage with guests
  • Strong people leader having prior experience managing diverse teams
  • Fluent French and English language skills and presentation ability
  • Creative, innovative with extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of financial tools and processes (e.g. budgeting)
