Punch Powertrain is a multinational, headquartered in Sint-Truiden, with a strong presence in Europe and China. As
an independent automotive supplier we develop and manufacture a complete portfolio of powertrain solutions for
the passenger car segment (conventional, hybrid and full electric). Our innovative products provide excellent driving
dynamics, enhanced comfort, fun of driving and an ever improving fuel economy.

The Clermont-Ferrand site, which is on a human scale, is dedicated to research, development and the creation of
innovative industrial solutions in power electronics. At Punch Powertrain, the range of technical solutions is wide :
Hybridization/Electrification of powertrains for the cars of tomorrow, Formula 1, Formula E, advanced Research and
Technology. Our facilities (less than 3 years old with an extension already planned) are in the immediate proximity
(less than 5' from the main means of communication : Train track/Airport/Highway). Our validation laboratory was
designed by the engineers themselves. This is not the only tool you will find to implement your ideas: a pilot assembly
line equipped with the same means as the largest production centers will be at your disposal.

R&D Power Electronics Senior Engineer

Job description :

Attached to our Power Electronics division, you will be responsible for :
• Leading the development of the power electronics product roadmap.
• Defining the architecture of our product and lead the technical development.
• Participating in the continuous improvement of our design rules and work processes.
• Working closely with project managers to achieve deliverables and product performances.
• Leading a multi-disciplinary technical team.

Profile:

• You have solid experience in the development of the following functions: power supply, inverter, charger or DCDC.
• You have a strong background on power electronics components (IGBT, SiC, GaN, MOSFET,…).
• Your background allows you to appreciate the differences in points of view and you know how to take advantage of
them to develop innovative solutions.
• You have a good level in English, which makes the contact with our clients easier and enables you to clarify their
needs and present your work.
• You are a thorough and manual hands-on kind of person with very good interpersonal skills, adaptability and
creativity.
• You enjoy working in an innovative and interactive technical environment.
