Patent Attorney in Telecommunication or Computer science – Bilingual Chinese (Mandarin & English)

We are recruiting a Patent Attorney in Telecommunication or Computer science – Bilingual Chinese (Mandarin & English), based in Paris.

The position involves patent application preparation in English, chinese client counseling, opinion work, and other related IP work for some of the world’s leading technology companies and universities.

The applicant will have the opportunity to be trained in procedures associated with the European patent system (e.g., prosecution, opposition, etc.) with the option of sitting the European Qualifying Examination before the EPO following the requisite training period.

PROFILE:

– Master degree in Telecommunication or Computer science
– Native Chinese language (Mandarin)
– Fluent English essential
– First experience in IP (IP firm, patent office, …) required

You have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to synthesise information and adapt to new situations.
