This locally owned psychology practice is based in Charleville and has a strong commitment to providing accessible and high-quality face-to-face and telehealth services for our rural and remote communities. They operate as a team-based practice, with psychologists and support staff working collaboratively to deliver evidence-based care across the lifespan. Services include individual therapy and assessment, with referrals accepted from a range of sources including GPs, schools, NDIS and other agencies. Billing is available via Private, Medicare, NDIS (self- and plan-managed), WorkCover, DVA, and first responder programs. The practice is supported by efficient administration systems, secure digital platforms, and a collegial environment that encourages professional growth and shared learning.
Position Details:
The registered psychologist will provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based psychological services to individuals and families across the lifespan in a rural and remote practice setting. This includes the delivery of psychological assessments, case formulation, and short- to medium-term therapeutic intervention. This position supports a broad and adaptable scope of practice across diverse client presentations, with a focus on high-quality care that aligns with the Professional Competencies for Psychologists (effective 1 Dec 2025) and the AHPRA Code of Conduct.

Position Requirements:
Essential -
General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience in assessment, formulation, and treatment planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse populations.
Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally safe practice.
High-level organisational skills and professional accountability.
Desirable -
Experience in rural or remote health settings.
Familiarity with the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), NDIS, and third-party funding bodies.
Interest in areas such as group facilitation, supervision, or service innovation.
