We have recently started supporting a French company that designs, manufactures and sells products dedicated to the industrial and HVAC markets. The core focus of their products is focused around the detection, measurement and control of indoor air quality (IAQ).

This company are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join the software team in the Bordeaux office and almost act as a technical lead.

In this role you will join a team of 7 people and work on the highest level of software development in the company alongside another senior engineer, this includes Software architecture, Cloud development, merge requests. Cloud experience is very important on this as they will need you to take the lead in this area. They are currently using Microsoft Azure.

On top of this you will be the main technical referent where you will help the junior engineers in the team and take the lead on several projects.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days on-site per week.

Key skills required :

Strong experience as a software engineer

Java with Spring boot is essential.

Experience with maintaining cloud computing using Kubernetes and docker

They use Microsoft Azure but experience with AWS, GCP or other cloud providers is also okay

Bonus Points :

Angular, Kotlin, Typescript

Android and iOS development

IoT, LoraWAN
