We’re looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to help us secure, scale, and innovate our Action Platform. This platform powers integrations with third-party systems for various products, including Workflow Automation, App Builder, and more. These actions range from sending a Slack message or updating an AWS S3 bucket to deleting a Kubernetes pod. We also support Private Actions, which run on customer infrastructure via a Go runner, while Cloud Actions are handled by TypeScript Actions.

In this role, you’ll collaborate across two key teams :

  • API Team : Focused on the orchestration and scaling of our infrastructure and cloud services with an emphasis on security posture and threat mitigation.
  • Runtime Team : Dedicated to the development and lifecycle of our action platform runners, enhancing the Action Developer Experience, supporting UI components delivered to clients, and ensuring secure execution environments.

What You’ll Do :

  • Contribute to high-priority, high-visibility projects to increase the platform's resilience and scalability.
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to make architectural decisions for distributed, high-throughput, real-time systems.
  • Identify and address potential risks and trends in reliability.
  • Drive the development of secure, scalable systems for both cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Partner closely with other teams and platforms that integrate with the Action Platform to deliver critical capabilities to customers.

    • Who You Are :

  • You have experience leading impactful initiatives in a platform or infrastructure-focused environment.
  • You are passionate about optimizing performance and efficiency in large-scale systems.
  • You have hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems and understand the complexities of high-scale architectures.
  • You have a strong reliability-oriented mindset and care deeply about resilient systems.
  • You are proficient in backend programming and have contributed to the development of secure, scalable software.
