Job Title : International Tax Manager - Governance, Financing, and Projects

Mission :

As an International Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing the group's tax governance worldwide, ensuring the implementation and monitoring of tax policies and processes. You will work closely with the finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure tax compliance and minimize risks in a complex international environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Tax Governance :

Develop and implement the group's tax directives (guidelines, charters).

  • Establish and monitor action plans for tax risk management.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of tax positions across all transversal projects.
  • Anticipate international tax changes and integrate them.
  • Identify and share tax best practices, and foster the financial community (e.g., Tax Governance Days).
  • Act as a key contact in case of crisis and manage communication related to tax matters.
  • Tax Litigation Management :
  • Supervise the digital tool for managing tax disputes globally.

  • Lead the user network (countries, zones, headquarters) to monitor tax litigation and apply procedures (playbook).
  • Performance and Management :
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for tax matters.

  • Coordinate tax activities between different teams and entities within the group.
  • Profile sought :

  • Education : Master's degree in Taxation / International Taxation.
  • Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in international taxation within a multinational company or consulting firm.
  • Technical skills : Strong command of international tax principles, tax treaties, and transfer pricing rules. Experience in international tax structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Language skills : Fluent English is essential. Proficiency in another language (Spanish, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Soft skills : Analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, proactivity, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and manage projects.
  • Reporting :

  • You will report to the Global Tax Director for Governance - Travel Retail Worldwide - L'Oréal International Distribution global.
