This position at Ame GBTrepresentsan exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic world of airline distribution, managing a portfolio of airlineswithin theEMEA andAPACregions.This is a strategic role, where the successful applicant willbe responsible formanaging the distribution relationships withkeyexternal partners to secure best-in-class content for Amex GBT’s customers andcollaboratewith internal stakeholders to ensure this content isoptimizedat point of sale.

The role sits on the supplier side of the organization, within the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) team. Supply is a strategiccomponentof the business model and value proposition for Amex GBT, contributing significantly to revenue generation and customer value.

WhatYou’llDo:

• Work with Distribution Team’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy inEMEA and APAC countries

• Partnering with Airlines to ensure strong collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and enhancing the overall offering to joint customers

• Work through content related issues and apply solutions asrequiredto overcome challenges

• Workingclosely withProduct & Technology,Marketplaceand Commercial teams toensure alignmentandprogress on key goals

• Developing and implementing new strategies to evolve and expand the content offered to customersutilizingnew capabilities and technology asrequired

• Develop commercial models to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace

WhatWe’reLooking For:

• 3+ years of experience in theAirline and/or traveldistribution space. Ideally with good knowledge of NDC

• Strong product and technology knowledge baseto influence and lead product-related discussions.

• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners. Ability to navigate a complex organization and find the right internal partner for each project

• Strategic thinking skillsetand ability to translate complex technicaland businessissues into clear, actionable insights for leadership

• Experience of ‘future proofing’ within organizations

• Strong negotiation skillsto ensureoptimumvalue for the organization.

• Strong analytical skills.Assess and understandfinancial impactof negotiations

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines

• Coss cultural awareness. Thrive in diverse, multi-time zone environments with cultural adaptability.

• long and successful previous experience on the management of business travel suppliers (such as airlines) is key.
