Job Purpose

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for a Flexible Pipeline Senior Engineer (M / F) who can join our multicultural team in Paris.

The Senior Riser Analysis Engineer is the representative of the Flexible Pipe Department within the project team and is therefore responsible to provide expertise on riser dynamic analysis during execution of large projects such as iEPCI contract by integrating the requirements of the client and the project.

Job Description

Technically, he / she will be responsible for developing riser configuration that satisfy flexible riser cross section limitation as well as clashing and global fatigue analysis.

Clearly, this will part of the complete flexible engineering solution that the our team shall deliver to our clients. These activities must respect the highest standards of safety and quality in order to ensure the satisfaction of the group's customers.

Regarding management, he / she will be responsible for interfacing internally with experts as well as client Technical Authorities on this field of expertise.

During project execution lead the team on site or remotely within the group.

You are meant for this job if :

• Engineering degree with a specialization in hydrodynamic engineering
• Minimum experience of 5 years
• Fluent in French and English
• Familiar with the Office Pack and Excel (good notions of VBA or Python programming)
• Autonomous and organized, you demonstrate leadership and real decision-making abilities. You know how to manage priorities, move easily as a team and have good communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong knowledge in dynamic analysis and FPSO / riser meteocean data.
• The position is based in Paris, but you may need to make occasional trips abroad.
