We are looking for a Global Procurement Category Analyst - Activation ! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Your roleEnable Pernod Ricard to contribute to our growth ambition, through contributing to the Smart Spend Program related to ActivationSupports Global Category Managers to drive and contribute to development of the category strategy and roadmapContributes to building tailored action plans and recommendations at the global level to maximize procurement impactProposes & maintains efficient internal processes, provides analytical support and manages reporting across the categoryYour key missionsSupports the development of the global category strategy : Contributes to the definition of roadmap to deliver objectives along 4 sources of value : Security of Supply, Margin Improvement, Sustainability and Accelerated Innovation for POS streamIdentifies new trends (working with CoE, suppliers and affiliates) and links them towards strategic objectivesProvide fit-for-purpose advanced analysisSupports negotiations with suppliers via data collection / consolidation, analysis and updating / challenging negotiation strategy when appropriateIs accountable for identification of risks and success factors for savings initiatives, provides information for business case creationAnalyze new / potential suppliers, supports suppliers' selection & development : Performs price comparisons and supplier benchmarking to allow good sourcing decisionsIs part of interface towards suppliers organizes regular business reviews with selected partners Onboards stakeholders at relevant levels & facilitates transversal ways of working with affiliates and corporate functionsOrganizes regular category reviews with selected affiliates and provides escalation support to find solutions for ongoing requestsManages global budgeting & performance / pipeline tracking process for category responsibleActively participates to the Pernod Ricard Procurement transformation : Is responsible for implementation of digital tools and performance dashboards aligned with PR Procurement reporting toolsProvides analytical support to Category Director and Category ManagerPerforms regular spend database analysis and provides regular updates on KPIs relevant for the categoryProvides costing analysis at the SKUs and / or sub-category and affiliate level and / or benchmarking studies for existing portfolioFollows category market inflation and updates PAF models as neededIf you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply!ProfessionalExperienced professional with successful 3-5 years record in a procurement organizationExperience in working within FMCG multi-cultural organizationsTechnical Strong analytic and technical skills & data driven.
Ability to create detailed costing modelsGood understanding of financial and commercial context of activation categoryAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
