As part of our continued growth, ProAmpac is expanding our sales team and looking for a driven Sales Manager to join our commercial team.

We’re seeking a self-motivated, results-driven professional with a passion for building relationships and uncovering new opportunities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and nurturing long-term partnerships. Experience in the packaging industry is preferred but not required—we value strong sales instincts and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in line with growth targets.
  • Regularly travel to meet with current and prospective clients (including overnight stays and occasional evening events).
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Negotiate and secure long-term contracts with key accounts.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports using internal systems.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align sales plans with operational capabilities and product development.
  • Customer & Product Management

  • Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to bring customer concepts to life.
  • Act as a key liaison for quality issues, customer concerns, and inventory planning.
  • Work closely with customer service to ensure accurate orders, pricing, and on-time delivery.
  • Brand & Value Representation

  • Represent ProAmpac as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to customers.
  • Clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and market differentiators.
  • Foster a professional, solution-oriented approach in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally within packaging, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, client engagement, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
