The position
As a colleague in the Legal Team , you will belong to a team within the Group Legal function. The team, which currently consists of 4 people based in Sweden, US and Tunisia, provides legal support to the Medius Group in a wide range of legal areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate and review commercial contracts; including, SaaS, implementation, partner, supplier, privacy and security agreements.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the effective and timely management of contract enquiries, risks and undertaking negotiations as required.
- Closely partner with all functions within Medius to provide practical legal advice and support, including the sales and marketing functions.
- Actively contribute to the legal teams’ ongoing development of knowledge, skills and processes, including the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor or Master degree in French law.
- Experience (3+ years minimum) in a legal role at a reputable law firm or an in-house legal department.
- Experience in advising on legal commercial and compliance matters in SaaS industries, including privacy matters / GDPR.
- Proficient in the English and French languages.
- Strong deal-making skills that go beyond negotiating legal terms and resolving legal issues.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organisation with a client-oriented culture.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a demanding and entrepreneurial environment in a timely manner.
- Hands-on team player who can contribute both strategically and directly.
- Team spirited, a collaborative positive and service minded attitude.
