The CSR Department of EQUANS is looking for :

Climat Manager- Responsable Climat (expert carbone) (H / F)

position based in Courbevoie (92)

Positioned at the level of Equans Corporate, you will be directly reporting to Chief Sustainability Officer and will be in charge of leading the decarbonization strategy, roadmap and initiatives in the field of carbon, enabling the transformation of Equans, developing internal support, awareness and external collaborations, which will contribute to position Equans as a leader in decarbonization services for buildings, cities, infrastructure and industry.

Your main roles will involve :

• Lead mid and long-term climate strategy including deployment of carbon trajectories through Group digital tool (Sweep), and support regions in their local trajectories,
• Manage Equans SBTi commitment (currently in validation process) and drive convergence through global Climate / Carbon roadmap in close collaboration with the business units,
• Coordinate the global carbon reporting campaign (GHG Protocol), securing alignment with reporting standards (CSRD), enhancing reporting protocols, support and training internal teams,
• Drive climate change risk assessment and preparation of resilience plans for Equans,
• Support Procurement organization with the structuration and deployment of carbon reduction plan including assessment and integration of environmental data for purchased goods and services,
• Support Finance organization with the analysis of alignment of Equans activities with the EU taxonomy for sustainable activities,
• Support the operational teams in avoided emissions calculations and life-cycle assessment of projects with the commercial teams, contribute to promotion, marketing, and business development activities,
• Develop framework to integrate climate challenges in the overall management cycle,
• Develop circular economy roadmap with local teams and support sharing of local initiatives from the regional businesses,
• Raise internal awareness on climate and circular economy issues, develop and deploy training modules,
• Contribute to develop external positioning, visibility, and advocacy of Equans on Climate topics through development of collaborations and participation in external working groups.

Expected Profile :

• Master's degree (M1 / M2) in Engineering / Business / Sustainability management, Environmental sciences from a top tier school / university
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in climate, sustainability and similar fields
• Experience with carbon footprint assessment, climate strategy, carbon standards and regulations, carbon digital tools
• Hands-on, demonstrated ability to lead project and deliver on-time and efficiently
• Ability to collect, analyse data and prepare powerful synthesis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and capacity to work in collaboration with operational teams
• Autonomy in work organization, structure, rigor, ability to network and influence
• Fluent English and French (writing and speaking), other language would be a plus
