Origination Manager - Renewables

As Manager in Origination (Screening / Securing), you will lead the early-stage development of utility-scale renewable energy projects in France - including land identification, site screening, and acquisition.

You’ll drive the origination of high-potential sites for wind, solar, and BESS projects by working closely with landowners, municipalities, and key stakeholders, while also coordinating internal and external teams to ensure site readiness for development.

This role sits at the critical intersection of commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement, and land development, and reports directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead site origination and land acquisition for utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
• Identify and evaluate land opportunities based on grid access, permitting feasibility, and energy resource availability.
• Negotiate and secure land rights with landowners, municipalities, and other local stakeholders.
• Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with landowners, community members, and local authorities.
• Manage internal origination teams and external partners (e.g. consultants, local developers).
• Align with legal, technical, and development teams to ensure early-stage project milestones are met.
• Support the strategic direction of the Origination Department and contribute to operational goals.
• Assess and prioritize high-potential areas using market, regulatory, and technical criteria.
• Ensure alignment across all stakeholders to drive project consistency, quality, and timely delivery.
