For one of our clients specialized in energy projects (hydrogen, offshore wind, natural gas, LNG, LPG, etc.), we are looking for an Industrial Safety Engineer .

Location : Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France

Start date : ASAP

Required languages : French and English

Desired experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Safety Experience in gas / energy Risk management, hazard identification

Desired Knowledge : Office Suite (mandatory) Phast (recommended) Flumilog (recommended)

Mission Description :

• Identify and analyze safety and environmental constraints applicable to an energy project (especially hydrogen, natural gas, LNG, wind, biogas, etc.
• and propose solutions;
• Conduct regulatory and permitting studies;
• Prepare regulatory files related to the ICPE regulation (declaration, registration or authorization files, and in particular hazard studies);
• Ensure project compliance with current regulations;
• Conduct industrial risk studies (fire, ATEX, HAZID or HAZOP type risk analysis, etc.);
• Define safety philosophies for projects (DI / DG, fire protection, ESD, explosion, etc.);
• Model hazardous phenomena related to various energy activities (H2, natural gas, LNG, etc.) using PHAST and FLUMILOG software;
• Ensure the consideration of safety and environmental aspects in the design of energy-related projects.

The deliverables include :

• SSE constraints note;
• Hazard study;
• Risk analysis;
• Safety studies in design (fire, ATEX, etc.);
• HAZID / HAZOP.
