Structural Integrity Engineer
NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Structural Integrity Engineer to work on their big project based in Montigny Le Bretonneux.
The position will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12 month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop.
The schedule will be Mon Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.
DESCRIPTION :
The activity of this service will focus on :
- Establish acceptance criteria for weld flaws in rigid pipelines through analytical calculations.
- Conduct studies using the finite element method on complex geometries.
- Draft methodology and calculation reports.
- Ensure proper interface between ECA and other disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
To carry out this service, the Incumbent must provide the skills described below :
- Fracture mechanics
- CrackWise
- Abaqus
