Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction.

This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators and serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community.

Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team. Team Profile : The Legal Entity Finance team in Paris is diverse and composed of seven people, including three different nationalities.

The Team works closely with internal finance teams on regulatory, financial reporting, and control functions which form part of the overall financial control function and also provide support to Senior Management on strategic planning and business decisions.

What will you be doing ? Participate in the preparation and control of annual statutory financial statements the Morgan Stanley French entities, including resolving accounting issues and disclosure requirements as well as liaising with external auditors (predominantly under French GAAP but with some exposure to IFRS and USGAAP) Participate in the preparation and filing of different tax reporting (US and local) for the French entities in coordination with the Firm Tax Department and supervised by experienced peopleParticipate in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to finance senior management, directors, and other key stakeholdersWork on ad-hoc accounting / regulatory projects to enhance controls and reporting efficiencyCoordinate with multiple teams across the firm - and across the globe including Corporate Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Tax and Transfer Pricing, in a collaborative and problem-solving capacity.

QualificationsWhat we are looking for : University degree with relevant experience in Accounting and Tax related mattersExperience in preparing and filing local French tax reporting Fluency in French language is required Where will you be working?
