ResponsibilitiesLead the orchestration and resolution of ongoing disputesDevelop and execute a legal strategy to proactively respond to contentious inquiries, including litigation issues and regulatory conundrums, faced by our organization and internal stakeholdersAct as the key liaison with external legal counsel, confidently navigating negotiations with opposing partiesDeliver proactive, strategic, and commercially viable legal guidance to all internal stakeholders, fostering a comprehensive understanding of complex legal landscapesHead the development and execution of a holistic legal strategy to manage potential disputes, while seamlessly aligning with the broader business objectives of the organizationTake full ownership of the drafting and review process for major litigation and arbitration documents, including discovery responses, dispositive motions, expert reports, and settlement agreementsCollaboratively engage with cross-functional and regional teams, providing expert advice on diverse legal matters of varying complexity, sensitivity, and importanceAct as a mentor to foster the growth of legal acumen across the organization through training sessions designed for business partners and non-legal associatesPrudently identify, manage, and mitigate risks within the broader business framework, advising on and implementing innovative solutions to address identified challengesOversee the administrative aspects of the legal team's operations, including but not limited to billing, contract management, and document controlRequirementsMinimum of 12-15 years' experience in litigation and investigations, ideally within the technology or financial services sectorsSignificant international experience (APAC, EMEA) is advantageousDemonstrate a proven track record in spearheading extensive legal operations and managing high-stakes litigationPossess excellent mastery of the English language, both in written and spoken formProficiency in other European languages will be considered an assetManifest the ability to excel in a high-intensity, dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility in managing multiple high-priority tasks concurrentlyExperience in dealing effectively with regulatory inquiries, processing information requests, and leading investigations is a significant advantageDisplay a keen interest in the cryptocurrency industry and its evolving landscapeExhibit solid legal technical expertise coupled with astute business acumen and people management skillsDemonstrate a hands-on approach to work, showcasing independence in steering complex project managementHave the ability to ideate and implement innovative solutions to manage risks and navigate disputesPossess excellent legal drafting abilities and strong skills in interpreting diverse legal documents and lawsWorking at BinanceBe a part of the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem that continues to grow and offers excellent career development opportunitiesWork alongside diverse, world-class talent in an environment where learning and growth opportunities are endlessTackle fast-paced, challenging and unique projectsWork in a truly global organization, with international teams and a flat organizational structureCompetitive salary and benefitsFlexible working hours, remote-first, and casual work attireLearn more about how Binancians embody the organization’s core values, creating a unified culture that enables collaboration, excellence, and growth.
