In line with the Group’s CSR priorities, the Sustainable Business Development team helps Saint-Gobain and its businesses to capture the full potential of sustainability as a major growth and differentiation driver, both at global and local levels.
Within the Sustainable Business Development team, the Product stewardship team helps the Saint-Gobain businesses to improve the sustainability performance of their products and to deliver robust and transparent information regarding their environmental and health impacts.
In this team, the Eco-innovation Manager :
- Manages a program aiming to mainstream sustainability in innovation,
- Supports the deployment of Life Cycle Assessment within the Group.
MISSIONS :
Sustainability in innovation (Eco-innovation) :
- Help to develop the culture and practices to foster sustainability in innovation.
- Work on trainings, tools and procedures to mainstream sustainability in the innovation process and supports change by convincing and embarking the innovation teams.
- Take part in eco-innovation projects in collaboration with Marketing, R&D and Purchasing teams.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) : In collaboration with the other members of the Product stewardship team,
- Support the deployment of the LCA capability within the Group, especially within the R&D centers.
- Train and support the LCA practitioners in the Group and share good practices.
- Perform LCA of Saint-Gobain products in order to support eco-innovation projects or to develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
Together with the other members of the Sustainable Business Development team, you will also :
- Provide support to Countries and Business Units to answer questions related to sustainability,
- Contribute to share knowledge on sustainability in Saint-Gobain.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Master's degree level of education (from an engineering school or an equivalent)
- 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in sustainability topics (preferably in the construction sector or in a consulting firm)
- R&D experience would be a plus
- Fluent in French and English
Hard skills :
- Advanced practice of Life Cycle Assessment required (preferably with experience in Environmental Product Declarations of construction products)
- Strong knowledge in innovation methods and tools

OTHER INFORMATION :
- Long-term contract to be filled as soon as possible
