Investment Banking M&A Managing Director Paris

Position Overview : Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director / Managing Director with exceptional origination capabilities to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, cultivating client relationships and delivering strategic solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Lead business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for client engagement and revenue generation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporations, financial institutions, and private equity firms.
- Drive origination efforts by leveraging industry knowledge, market insights, and a strong network of contacts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives and client solutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related advisory roles.
- Proven track record of success in origination, business development, and client relationship management.
- French client coverage is essential.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English and French
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive results independently.
