Job Overview

TE France is looking for a student in Engineering for an internship of 4-6 months based in Pontoise (Val d'Oise). The candidate will join an Engineering team of 40 engineers dedicated to design and validation of high added value products for electric and hybrid vehicules.

What your background should look like :

Take part in New Product Design & Development activity

Design for new solution CAD models and drawings. Monitor rapid prototyping and pilot manufacturing.

Work on problem solving by the analysis of the root cause, research of solution, solution implementation by CAD, solution check by verification and / or testing

Use of CAD Creo software

Apply design verification tools such as worst-case tolerance calculations and mechanical simulation

Analyze of the Customer specifications

Define DV (design validation) and PV (product validation) test plans definition

Follow-up of tests and validation / qualification of the product

Work on the product design technical documents (models, drawings, specifications, ...)

Be in contact and in interaction with the others internal departments (sales and marketing, advanced quality engineering, tooling, manufacturing, purchasing, accounting, test and validation lab, model shop, 3D print shop, advanced engineering, platform engineering, etc..)

Profile

4 or 5 year of graduate in Mechanical Engineering preferably UTC, UTT, CESI, INSA.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $xxx xxx (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience.

Timeline

TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May.
