Senior Data Analyst - Instore (f/m/d)

We provide insights to digital teams and contribute to make our in-store tool ecosystem better. We enable our internal users to have a stronger business impact and operational performance through the use of data and innovative solutions.

We are hiring a senior Data Analyst for an internal position based in Lille or Paris.

Your Roles as Senior Data Analyst

• Build scalable analytic frameworks to generate insights for Decathlon's Instore Ecosystem such as store performance, efficiency, automation, experience, checkout and staffing.
• Design, drive and analyze results of experiments such as in store A / B tests and causal Inferences.
• Partner with key stakeholders such as Product Managers, Business Managers, Engineers and Data Managers to be able to qualify their needs and translate them into relevant data analysis.
• Drive analytics studies to improve Decathlon's understanding of customer in store behaviors and potential organization strategy via tooling, staffing, automation & robotisation etc.
• Identify and quantify opportunities for new business and product development; Turn business and product problems into actionable insights.
• Mentor junior data analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives skills you'll need to bring.

Skills you'll need to bring

• 3-7+ years of relevant industry experience working in tech platform, consulting or scaled retail environments.
• Background in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science.
• You speak fluent English and French
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and statistics is a must ; Data visualization experience with Tableau is preferred; advanced analytical and machine learning knowledge is a plus.

• Experience with causal inference is a plus
• Experience with Retail is a bonus
