Senior Project Manager H/F
Sygma SA is an engineering company working worldwide. For this project we are looking for a Project Manager with a Civil Engineer back ground and having a the possibility to BE mobilized in in Belgium for the project studies and then in France for the follow up.
We will participate to the construction of a Gas receiving terminal. French and English fluent are mandatory for this position.
The project is containing an extension and refurbishment of the existing admin building which includes offices, reception area, meeting rooms, control room instrument room etc.
We expect the candidate to have a bachelor or a master in civil engineering / construction or experience that can compensate for the education grade.
In the beginning IT will BE follow up of engineering which is done in Belgium. The exact split between home office and field needs to BE discussed with the candidate, but IT will BE necessary to BE more at site when construction starts next year.
Main tasks- Manage the building project including : - HSE- Engineering- Procurement- Construction- Handover- Keeping high standard concerning quality- Scheduling- Cooperate with terminal Operation on a daily basis.
Background- Master / Bachelor in Civil engineering / construction or similar- Minimum 10 years' experience in building projects- Needed certificates (if needed from Authorities) to take the position.
- Good knowledge in French authority regulations incl needed permitting.- Speaking and writing fluent French and English languages- Knowledge and experience with doing construction work simultaneous with operation of plant.
