The Ticketing (ORR-OST-TDR) entity is developing products for airlines and travel agents, related to electronic documents (e-Tickets, EMDs) business, revenue integrity services and financial sales reporting.
The general data driven platform we are accountable for includes :
- The storage of electronic documents related data, and interactions management between all stakeholders (DCS, other GDSs, groundhandlers, external systems,...);
- The exposure of those data in push (online feeds, analytics, notifications to customers, authorities, passengers..., events publication) & pull (display, history,...) modes;
- The administration and security of all processes managing the order-related data (inter-systems communications, sensitive or confidential data protection, industry data security standards...);
The financial flows for sales and usage (batch or online) to third party systems (BSP, external revenue accouting) or internally (to ARA).
About the role : The team
The team
Within TDR department, the SIR (Sales Insertion and Reporting) team focuses on the financial aspects of the ticket, seen as a monetary transaction.
The products and relevant technical components under SIR team responsibility allow to :
- store the transactions in database
- give visibility on their sale activities to travel agents and airline agents via interactive sales reports
- report the sales to airlines and different actors of the travel industry via offline sales reportings
Common accountabilities
- Has the required technical / functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
- Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support / influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

Build, maintain and share the functional knowledge of our processes, services and usage of end user products.
Analyse business requirements submitted by Product Management.
Size specification and validation work.
Carry out functional design
Write Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, Product Specifications and present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholders.
Interface with relevant divisions and departments to identify interactions with other Amadeus applications and ensure functional compatibility.
Overview validation
Validate the product to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity, and give sign off
Ensure production integrity by investigating, validating and prioritizing reported incidents.
Manage relations with key stakeholders
Interface and communicate with Product Management, Project management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration and Development teams.
Interface with the customer during requirements understanding, functional specification, testing and implementation phases.
About the ideal candidate :
- Functional Skills
- 2 years of experience as a Product definition analyst, or a similar role
Development experience would be a plus
Knowledge of Distribution & Airline business would be a plus
Knowledge of Ticketing would be a plus
