We are pleased to work with an International Group opening a high-end Japanese / Asian restaurant in the heart of Paris for 2024 that is sure to become a top destination in the Parisian dining scenery.
They are looking to appoint a true Master Japanese Chef to support the pre-opening of the restaurant from creation of the menu, development of the procedures, recruitment of the brigade and trainings.
We are looking for a dynamic chef that can bring creative flair and that will be a coach for his / her brigade.
You must have a stable experience within on of the top Japanese Restaurant Kitchen renowned worldwide ; with strong knowledge of modern and classic techniques.
This is an executive role and you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen . You must have a solid understanding of the work practices and rules of the kitchen;
including finance and back office functions. As a chef, you will oversee all inventory, rotas, orders and staff management, etc.
Profile :
- Must have a Culinary education
- Currently be in the position of Senior Chef, Master Chef, Head Chef or Executive Chef in top Asian / Japanese Restaurant
- Must be rigorous, methodical and know how to be quick and efficient.
- Must understand working with process and brand standards
- Have excellent adaptability, a sense of detail and are creative.
- Have a good sense of observation and organization.
- Excellent knowledge of techniques and raw produces
- Understanding of kitchen administrative management skills (team, order management, etc.)
- Must have all the certifications to operate in the kitchen (HACCP standards, etc.)
- English fluency
