Regional Managing Director, France

Construction, Engineering, Construction, Engineering Services to Oil, Gas, Power Generation

Location : Northern France

The company is a Engineer Services Business - as such we are hoping to find someone with experince in that area.

We are seeking a Regional Managing Director, in France to determine the policy and the organizational structure, complete the staffing of key positions, shape business processes, managing the entire organization and the internal and external representation of the company.

As the Director of France, you will have overall responsibility for the secured sales growth and executed revenue profitability for an assigned geography.

This includes the implementation and execution of the strategic plans for the industrial business. Efficient operations in yards and field, effective engineering support, and accurate financial planning and reporting are the main objectives of the job.

The services offered are tied directly to industrial services and focused on scaffolding, isolation, painting and mechanical access systems.

Our client is a global provider of access, specialized services, forming and shoring solutions to its customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership of the France organization enabling successful and profitable delivery of projects.
  • Instrumental in the development and production of the strategic business plan.
  • Responsible for the preparation and adherence to the annual budget; Monitoring the financial results; and ensuring relevant actions are taken.
  • As the Chairperson of the organization including spokesperson for official meetings.
  • Working with key (local and international) stakeholders in determining the commercial, financial and personnel policy, whilst holding overall responsibility.
  • that knowledge of all relevant / current legislation and regulations that apply to the organization is kept up to date.
  • Define and develop procedures and instructions and supervise the implementation of the adopted policies.
  • Growing the business in completing the staffing of key positions and mobilization of any resource.
  • Health & Safety responsibilities are adhered to at all times ensuring compliance with current Health & Safety legislation in accordance with the current Company Policy and management and implementation of the SHEQ policy, including holding final responsibility.
  • Responsible for managing country business plan and fully P&L responsible.

Requirements :

  • Degree in business, marketing, or engineering
  • Leadership experience including P&L (€10m+)
  • 10+ years’ experience in construction, power generation or engineering services.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience.
  • Written communication skills English, French and Flemish (optional).
