YOUR POSITION

Server and database support : You support Windows and Linux servers, specialist applications as well as Oracle and ideally HANA databases.

Virtual environments : You administer virtual systems and storage solutions in the area of VMware, Citrix or IBM PowerVM.

Patch management : You take care of the security and up-to-dateness of the Linux environment

Backup and restore : You are responsible for the backup and restore environments of the existing virtual systems and physical servers.

Support and troubleshooting : You support end users (m / f / d) in second-level support, troubleshoot and set up new servers.

Documentation : You create and maintain documentation according to ITIL standards.

HOW YOU CONVINCE US

Education : You have successfully completed a university or university of applied sciences degree in the IT field (e.g. computer science, software system development, business informatics) or completed technical vocational training (e.g. as an IT specialist (m / f / d)) in combination with relevant professional experience in the field of activity.

Professional expertise : You have relevant professional experience in the administration of complex IT systems as well as knowledge of VMware, Citrix, PowerVM, Active Directory, Linux and Microsoft Azure. You also have knowledge of scripting programming / powershell.

A plus, but not a must : experience with Oracle and HANA databases is an advantage.

Competencies : A responsible and systematic way of working, an analytical approach and communication skills combined with team spirit characterize you.
