Introduction to the Team & Role

Join us as Founding Product Designer and be the first full-time designer to make proactive care available to everyone with us.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products. You'll lead the charge in both discovery and delivery, being the customers voice and collaborating closely with engineers to design solutions that improve patient outcomes and scale effectively.

What You’ll Do

Within 1 month, you will :

• Familiarize yourself with our product’s user base, mission, and challenges through shadowing sessions and team meetings.
• Start to engage in discovery processes, including user research and data analysis, to identify key user needs and product improvement opportunities.
• Begin to collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and opportunities.
• Deliver your first UX & UI flow for an upcoming product feature.

Within 3 months, you will :

• Lead design projects, presenting concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback.
• Implement design thinking methodologies to solve complex health tech problems, working closely with the product and engineering teams.
• Establish design standards, guidelines, and strategies in alignment with our product goals.

Within 6 months, you will :

• Have successfully led multiple design cycles, from discovery through delivery, resulting in measurable improvements to user satisfaction and product performance.
• Be recognised as a key contributor to the strategic direction of our product, influencing the roadmap and feature prioritization.
• Lead workshops and design sprints to explore innovative solutions to our challenges, setting new industry standards for user-centered design in health tech.

The Skill Set

To succeed, you’ll need a blend of technical skills, creativity, and empathy. We’re looking for someone who has :

• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product design, including examples of mobile and web applications;
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to guide strategic product decisions;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders;
• A problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering user-centered solutions that address complex challenges;
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma;
• Is eager to move fast and iterate quickly;
• Is proficient in English and French (our initial customer base).
