Within the Global Corporate Communications Department, the Media Relations Director contributes to the deployment of the Accor Group's corporate PR strategy.
Job Description
The Media Relations Director will be responsible for leading worldwide PR activities and supply it to the markets. Key responsibilities include driving projects to raise our company profile with our key target audiences, promoting the company via regular interviews and PR, developing and maintaining media relations, providing counsel to leadership for external opportunities & ensuring consistency with our SoMe team
- Support the department by helping defining the Global PR strategy
- Develop the Group's visibility and leadership, in line with the strategic topics defined by the external communication department (Employer Brand, D&I, CSR, Brands, Wellness, Digital, Development etc.)
- Help the management in their speaking opportunities (briefing, messaging, Q&A etc.)
- Lead the team in the creation and deployment of Corporate PR campaigns
- Define and deploy with the SoMe team, the Group's approach to Influencers
- Contribute to preserve Accor’s reputation
- Analyze data, prepare reports and insights, and optimize strategy based on results
- Handle 360 projects in conjunction with other external communication departments.
Qualifications
As the right candidate, you should have the below requested formation & experience :
- Bachelor's degree plus five years of higher education in Communications, Politic Sciences or business school.
- 10 years of professional experience in communications
- Experience in leading PR strategy
- Experience in SoMe.
- Experience in management
Last but not the least, the candidate should have :
- Adaptability : countries, languages, companies and roles
- Strong knowledge in PR and content production
- Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills
- Strong sense of organization and project management skills
- Reactivity, proactivity and agility
- Proven analytical skills
- Bilingual English and French.
