Job Description
- Oversee financial operations including budgets, audits, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Contribute to financial planning and decision-making processes
- Manage and mentor members of the accounting and finance team
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulatory bodies
- Implement effective financial strategies to drive organisational success
- Regularly review financial data and prepare reports for senior management
- Maintain the highest standards of financial management and operational efficiency
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Officer should have :
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in a not-for-profit financial role
- Exceptional knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership abilities to manage a team
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial management software
- Familiar with PS Financials
