We are looking for an : Area Sales Manager, location France.
Do you want to develop into a professional sales specialist who advises our customers on substrates in an advisory role? If so, read on! After a thorough training period, you will become the technical specialist of our products and develop yourself into an independent (sales) advisor.
As an Area Sales Manager, you are part of a team of professionals and are responsible for the development and sale of our substrates in the Westland region and beyond.
Your base is De Lier, Netherlands. You are the primary point of contact for customers and maintain a professional network.
In this challenging role, you focus on both sales to existing customers and acquiring new relationships. Our target audience is growers who use various substrates tailored to their specific cultivation needs.
You independently represent our products and turn opportunities into successes. Additionally, you systematically work on the development of your sales area, closely collaborating with your colleagues from product management, sales, customer service, and marketing.
Responsibilities :
- Selling substrates within the professional horticulture market;
- Key) account management;
- Actively promoting and marketing our products;
- Becoming a partner of our strategic customers and relationships;
- Increasing market share;
- Identifying and seizing market, product development, and trends with product specialists.
We are looking for :
- Someone who has a degree in sales, business administration, marketing or something related to the horicultural sector with a track record in sales;
- Entrepreneurship;
- Knowledge, experience, and a strong affinity with the sector;
- Network in the professional agricultural sector;
- Technical knowledge in the field of substrates and cultivation is a plus;
- Result-oriented;
- Strong personal presentation and networking skills.
