CONFIDENTIAL Scovai, a pioneering force in the Talent Acquisition & Recruiting sector known for its innovative talent intelligence platform, is seeking an Energy Transition Investment Director to lead a high-impact investment practice at the intersection of clean energy and institutional finance. Based in Paris, this director-level appointment will serve as the cornerstone of the firm's energy transition investment activities, driving origination, structuring, and execution of deals across renewables, clean infrastructure, and climate finance. The successful candidate will bring a commanding understanding of European energy policy, decarbonisation trajectories, and the evolving regulatory landscape shaping capital flows into sustainable assets.
In this role, you will originate and structure equity and debt transactions across solar, wind, hydrogen, and broader clean infrastructure, while managing a diversified portfolio of energy transition assets with rigorous ESG integration. You will lead financial modelling and investment committee processes, develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, LPs, GPs, and strategic partners, and contribute to green bond and climate finance frameworks. Engagement with clients and investors will be a core pillar of the position, requiring polished communication and deep market credibility.

Proven track record raising capital from institutional investors (pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds) and managing LP/investor relations Deep familiarity with EU sustainable finance frameworks and reporting (EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD), GHG accounting and impact measurement for investor-grade reporting Technical knowledge of grid integration, energy storage, and hydrogen infrastructure enabling assessment of technical-commercial risks and system value Expertise in commercial offtake structures including PPAs, corporate/merchant offtake strategies, and hedging solutions Experience executing cross-border M&A and designing tax-efficient SPV structures, with hands-on negotiation of SPA/SHA and complex debt facility documents
