Payments Industry and Advocacy Manager (all genders) - Executive Director
As a Payments Industry and Advocacy Manager, you will represent JPMorgan Payments across relevant Payments industry bodies, actively engaging in topics and ensuring alignment with the internal strategy.
This role can be based in Paris or Frankfurt.
Job responsibilities
- Represent the business at Central Bank and local Regulatory forums
- Developing the team’s multi-year Industry Strategy
- Act as a thought leader for the business . publishing white papers
- Providing continuous thought leadership through contributions to consultation responses etc.
- Reviewing regulatory changes for impact to the business
- Developing and communicating intelligence across the business
- Building strong relationships with functional partners to develop and present JPM Payments wide responses and views
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- In-depth understanding of the Regulatory landscape (. PSD2 / 3, CBDCs, Interchange Fee Regulation, AMLD5 / 6
- Existing relationships with Payments Trade Associations
- Excellent understanding of Acquiring, Issuing, and European Payment Rails
- Highly motivated individual with significant experience in the Payments Industry
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence and build consensus
- Strategic thinking with ability to work in a systematic manner
- Articulate written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Ability to work at pace and without direction to identify issues likely to impact the firm and its customers
- Attention to detail and comprehensiveness of content
- Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
