Position under direct responsibility of the Director of retail channel marketing and sales Europe & Middle-East.
Main responsibilities :
- Playing an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
- Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities.
- Give a rundown of the level of competition and general market activities basis to the Sales and Channel Marketing Director.
- Establish relationship with clients and provide high standard of customer service continually.
- Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.
- RfQs management
- Margin steering
- Competitive intelligence : Benchmark local competitor activity on 4P’s and general market approach, offer action plans and identify quick wins
- Negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements
- Contracting taking into account international tax compliance
- Budgets planning and follow-up
- Collaboration with supports functions : marketing, communication, logistics, controlling, legal, tax, business development
- Collaborate and mobilize international colleagues
- Leverage the international synergies
- Creating an internal network and knowing all stakeholders and functions to secure efficient knee-joint between marketing and retail key accounts
- Supporting local Retail Key Account Managers for local business development
Secondary responsibilities :
- Contribute to EU marketing plan definition : trends, local requirements
- Contribute to EU team best practice sharing
- Ad-hoc project management for the benefit of EU retail sales & marketing team
Qualifications
- Sales / Marketing master degree and / or Engineering degree
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in French and English mandatory. A third EU language is highly appreciated
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- High interest in data and figures
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Successful experience of managing major retail national accounts at head office level.
- Strong account management and relationship building skills.
- Good relationship building
- Excellent supervisory, evaluation, and reassessment experience.
- Strong competence in working efficiently in a complex multi-faceted setting.
- Flexible, autonomous, collaborative, innovative, results and future oriented.
- High sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, positive and competitive attitude, teamwork minded.
- Experience abroad is a plus (studies and / or professional)
- Proficiency with basic MS package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
