Communication Officer / Manager

Publisher of the JEC Composites Magazine, the industry’s reference magazine, JEC organizes several events around the world, including JEC World, the leading international exhibition dedicated to composites and their applications, which takes place annually in Paris.

JEC media, events and digital channels connect a global community of professionals from the composites industry and beyond, to enable knowledge transfer, create networking opportunities, and highlight innovation.

As part of its development, JEC is recruiting a highly motivated Communication Officer / Manager (permanent full-time contract) to join the team in our Paris Office.

Main missions and responsibilities

• Manage and deploy press relations in coordination with the Press Agency
• Develop and strengthen public relations with industry associations and public bodies
• Create and implement communication action plans to promote composites in applications areas defined by brand strategy
• Write communication materials (print, videos, social media posts and more broadly digital) resulting from its scope of activity
• Create and implement internal communication plan and manage internal employee events
• Ensure the consistency and dissemination of the communication visual identity and graphic guidelines
• Analyze the results of actions taken and participate in the continuous improvement of the communication plan according to the results obtained and expected
• Ensure compliance with budget commitments and ensure control of services entrusted to external suppliers
• Manage service providers (agencies, freelancers, etc.) and internal resources if necessary (qualification contract, trainee, etc.)

Profile

• Language skills : French & English as a must
• 5 / 7 years experience in a similar role in a B2B, technological environment
• Good knowledge of the various communication channels (social media, press relations, advertising, etc.) and their use according to the targeted audiences
• Ability to write quality content (press releases, social media posts, etc.) and communicate effectively with the various stakeholders of the company (executives, employees, institutions, customers, etc.)
• Good expertise of print and digital communication tools
• Team player
• Good time-management skills

Modalities

• Salary (fixed + variable) depending on experience and profile
• Permanent contract under French law
• Position based in Paris, close to the Porte Maillot RER and Metro stations
• Two days of home office possible (after the end of the trial period)
