Job Description
Following our strategy to unleash the full potential of our international markets, we are seeking a Tour Operator Manager focused on the Italian and Spanish markets.
With a strong emphasis on business development, the Tour Operator Manager will lead sourcing and negotiations with new partners in these regions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and revenue in the Italian and Spanish markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local tour operators in these markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our presence in the regions.
- Collaborate with supply and sales teams to ensure that offers correspond to VPG standards and targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize product offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee operational aspects such as contracting, pricing, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Negotiate deals from A to Z.
- Coordinate the sale with the departments in charge of the production of the sale : production assistant, content editor, loading, sales performance manager.
- Analyze the performance of the different sales and regular reporting of the performance with each partner.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate possesses...
- Proficiency in Italian and Spanish (written and spoken), and fluency in English.
- Proven experience in the tourism industry, with experience in negotiations with tour operators being essential.
- Strong network and existing relationships with key players in the Italian and Spanish travel markets.
- Business development skills, with a willingness to build business from scratch.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Rigorous, organized, analytical.
- Strength of conviction.
