About the jobAs a member of the Finance and Strategy team, your day-to-day job will be to help our business leaders make sound business and financial decisions.

You will need to have a deep understanding of our B2B partners and end customers, as well as business drivers, allowing you to help steer Hopper's growth and product strategy.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to understand the big picture, while also being unafraid to dive into the details and numbers, and have a solid understanding of full P&L modeling.

You also need to understand SQL and have experience with data visualization tools.What would your day-to-day look like :

Help business leaders make better strategic decisions by enabling them through data and deep understanding of financial trade- offs, across both our B2B and B2C product organizationsSpecifically, partner with our VP Commercial and the broader commercial organization to understand, review and drive optimum conversion of our B2B pipelineCreate, update and maintain financial models, budgets and forecastsBuild out business reporting metrics and dashboards, including ownership of pipeline reporting through SQL, salesforce and data studioPrepare internal reports for business leaders to support decision makingPerform analysis of financial and operational drivers to craft our short and long term strategic planWork on finance related optimization initiativesCollaborate with multiple areas of the business to accurately reflect recent trends in all modelling and financial reportingAutomate reporting and build insights using SQL / Big QueryAn ideal candidate has :

A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline5+ years of experience in a top tier tech company;

the addition of prior experiences in investment banking will be considered a plusEntrepreneurial spirit, ability to work autonomouslyTechnology industry experience is a strong plusExperience working in FP&A or strategic finance, in particular working with commercial teams in B2B organizationsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with strong modelling experienceVery comfortable working in SQL, expertise is a plusMicrosoft Office / Google Suite proficiencyEnthusiasm and curiosity for conducting research and answering hard questions with dataPerks and benefits of working with us :
