Project Manager Chartering

BOURBON SUBSEA SERVICES is the BOURBON Business Unit dedicated to offshore subsea operations.

From vessel charter to turnkey projects, our team provide our clients with a full range of services to assist at every stage of the life of their oil and gas, and wind turbine fields, from the survey and exploration phases, during the subsea construction and operation, through to dismantling.

RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTAB IL ITIES

During the tender phase

Assist the commercial department in tenders for projects as required and provide technical knowledge and expertise.

Assist the contract team in the negotiation of charter agreements with clients ensuring compliance with BOURBON policies and vessel specifications.

Contract management

Act as the primary point of contact for the clients for vessel chartering contracts, represent BOURBON SUBSEA activities in clients’ meetings.

Ensure the vessel delivery and mobilization is performed to client’s satisfaction in order that repeat business can be secured.

Ensure the development of the HSE management systems are implemented and regularly reviewed throughout the life of the contract.

Demonstrate strong and visible commitment to BOURBON HSE values.

Monitor the submission of all contract deliverables and react to ensure project progress is maintained in accordance with the schedule (monitor KPIs).

Control and manage all subcontractors and suppliers (including ship and ROV manager).

Client interaction

Manage the client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, ensuring client satisfaction, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing effective

solutions.

Prepare weekly and monthly project reports for management and Client (as required by contract).

Visit the client office and the local support functons.

Vessel / ROV coordination

Manage contract transition and starting phases, be present during vessel / ROV mobilization.

Oversee Ship manager and / or BOURBON ROV Service Agreements.

Monitor vessel performance and resolve any operational issues in coordination with the technical and operations teams.

With the HSE team, ensure lessons learnt sessions are held and result reported as per Lessons Learnt process.

Ensure management of change procedures are followed and endorse responsibility for project risk management.

Financial Management

In charge of the project’s P&L, ensure Project and Asset profitability, prepare and approve monthly financial statements of project performance.

Monitor budgetary constraints with the help of the finance team and work towards cost-effective solutions

Interface with various actors such as Vessels; Clients; ROV Coordinator; Contract manager; Operations manager; Project managers;

Engineering department; Tendering & Commercial Department, Finance Department

EXPERIENCE / PROFILE

• Engineering background / marine specialization
• Master degree or equivalent
• 5 years of experience as contract manager / operations specialist / project management
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards of the maritime world
• Team player, adaptability, humility
• Hands-on mindset
• Fluent in EnglishExperience in offshore operations is a plus
