Project Manager Newbuilding (Basé à Marseille)

THE ROLE :

Working in our Newbuilding entity, as a Project manager you will report directly to the Newbuilding Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES : You shall :

You shall :

• Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
• Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
• Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
• Issue comment on drawings for approval in accordance with shipbuilding contract
• Seek for assistance or expertsrsquo; opinions for specific drawings
• Follow up :
• drawing approval and work progress for you project
• extra and credit, specification deviations
• Provide Pre-delivery purchaser with necessary information to draw the list of initial stores and spare parts
• Manage vesselrsquo;s delivery
• Ensure specifications approval
• Train New Building Superintendents.

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• You are an engineer graduate, naval architect or seafarer
• You have a succesful experience as a Newbuilding Superintendent for 2 years or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and professional proficiency in French
• Good project management skills; analytical skills, result oriented
• Technical knowledge of vessel design
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible to change priorities
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
