Responsibilities

Axway is looking for an Architect to join our France/EMEA Professional Services Office. PSO Team collaborates with product management, sales and presales to provide technical expertise during both pre-sales and project delivery engagement.

• Takes the lead to define the complete customer solution.
• Creates solution vision and evangelizes how the solution addresses technical and business outcomes.
• Leads workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business challenges.
• Prepares and delivers presentations of the company’s solutions internally and externally.
• Ensures proactive communication with global team to ensure alignment.
• Support Axway PSO activities such as design assistance for complex use cases, architecture guidance, customer health assessments, and advisory services.
• Stays up to date on the latest technology and contributes to the technical. direction of the company while keeping a customer-centric approach.
• Acts as a mentor and may lead a team on complex opportunities.
• Communicates with sales, services, and product management teams regarding customer and partner initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimally 10 years of work experience in the IT industry in similar roles most likely with a software/solutions vendor.
• (Must have) Managed File Transfer (MFT) products like Axway Secure Transport, XFB Gateway, Interchange, Transfer CFT, GoAnywhere MFT, IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, etc.
• Message oriented service patterns including SOAP, REST, SOA, message bus such as MQ, Tibco, etc
• Experience with EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
• Enterprise Security standards an Identity Management: PKI infrastructure, SSO best practices, LDAP, SAML, OpenID, Multifactor, OAuth. Etc.
• Networking protocols and technology: TCP/IP, SFTP, PESIT, HTTPS etc.
• Hands-on development experience with some of the following: JavaScript, java, Python, bash, REST.
• Broad understanding of mobile, cloud, on premise, and hybrid solutions as well as containers and deployment platforms (Bluemix, Azure, AWS, etc).
